Beaded Jewelry Making Class
Tuesday May 31st
The Black Cat Market is holding its first jewelry-making workshop! A long-time friend of The Black Cat Market and Frankie’s Friends is teaching the class. She has many years of experience in making beaded jewelry, which she donates to raise funds for animal rescue. You can make a necklace or bracelet and choose your materials from our instructor’s collection of semi-precious stones, metal beads and stringing materials. She is generously donating her time and all materials so that the money raised from class fees can be split between Black Cat Market and Frankie’s Friends Cat Rescue. The class will be held at The Black Cat Market in Garfield on Tuesday, May 31st from 6pm to 7:30pm.The fee, including materials, is $40. The class is limited to ten participants.

It's the alley cat for 'Burgh word nerds - inspired by the classic board game, Scrabble - the PGH original - the 3rd annual Scrabble Cat! Earn points by riding to different streets in Pittsburgh with letters that match your unique "draw" of Scrabble tiles! This 'Cat will take you as far as you want to ride - once you get your manifest, it's up to you where to go to score your points! You will need to be able to take photos to play. NEW THIS YEAR: In-person registration, podiums, and after-party! Meet outside the Black Cat Market, 5135 Penn Ave. at 2:00 PM to get your manifest. Suggested donation $5 or whatever you can afford. All $$ goes towards Livy's Library: http://livyslibrary.weebly.com/ Arrive to Friendship Parklet by 4:30 PM for podiums, prizes, and party!!
